EDUCATION:
New this year to all registered exhibitors and tour operators, we have made tutorial videos available with each phase of Heartland Connections. In addition to the videos which have already been posted, there will be education videos on:

• How to conduct an appointment
• How to make the most of your Heartland Travel Showcase experience (for first time exhibitors and tour operators)

With these short videos, you will:

• see an enactment of an appointment
• learn what is happening each day of the Showcase
• have the show forms and profiles explained
• get helpful tips from former participants of this Showcase
• get advise for getting the most from your Showcase experience

OPEN FORUM:
On site at Heartland Travel Showcase, you will have the opportunity to participate in an Open Forum of ideas exchanged between tour operators and exhibitors. Come and hear some of the challenges and various solutions to those challenges that face seasoned veterans in the group tour industry. Some of the topics which will be discussed are:

• How do you develop tours that attract across a 20-year generation span?
• What’s the best internet marketing method?
• What’s new in your area – are you getting the word out?
• Are you giving the operators what they need in order to book tours with you?
