Share Your Free Attractions with TourismOhio

TourismOhio is putting together a statewide roundup of Ohio's free attractions and is looking for your help.

Why does this matter?

Free doesn't mean no economic impact. In fact, it's quite the opposite. When visitors save on admission, they're more likely to spend their money elsewhere. Maybe they stay an extra night, enjoy a great meal, or pick up a few souvenirs. Research shows that when travelers experience a mix of attractions—both paid and free—they see more value in their trip and leave with an even better impression of Ohio.

What TourismOhio is Looking For:

TourismOhio is seeking ongoing, year-round free attractions, such as:

  • Major free attractions (e.g., the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, Cleveland Museum of Art).
  • Historic sites, public art, or cultural stops with no admission fee.
  • Free outdoor experiences (state parks, scenic trails, and local nature preserves).

Please submit your suggestions here by Friday, Sept. 5, so your community can be part of this statewide showcase!
