The Director of Marketing & Sales is accountable for developing and directing implementation of organization-wide initiatives that advance the narrative of the Shores & Islands destination and brand locally, regionally, and nationally in order to increase the number of visitors attracted to our destination for leisure, group, and event tourism.
This senior-level team member is responsible for executing all forms of marketing, PR/media relations, social media, research, and metrics reporting, as well as overseeing the activities of the group sales managers for all group audience segments. Essential qualities for this role include the ability to collaborate, to think critically and creatively, and to structure employees and marketing partners to achieve the highest ROI.
