SUMMARY OF POSITION
Destination Cleveland is seeking a Sr. Director of PR/Communications to oversee and manage the
PR/Communications team responsibilities including pitching, hosting press trips, and travel writers, media
relations, community relations, copywriting, and editing for Destination Cleveland’s four core media markets:
leisure, meetings/conventions, local and institutional communications. This individual will be held accountable
for developing and executing a strategic plan, developing direct reports, and meeting or exceeding metrics based goals. This position will also act as the organization’s PR/Media lead for the Cleveland 2016 Republican
National Convention (RNC) Host Committee and will be the primary liaison for the GOP Press Team. Please
