Where is the conference located and & when is it?

The Cincinnati Marriott North will host the 2013 Ohio Conference on Tourism on October 16-18, 2013.  OTA has negotiated a special rate of $124/night for 1 King Bed or 2 Double Beds.  Use code: OTAOTAA when reserving your room.  Click Here to visit the Marriott reservation site.

What is the appropriate attire?

Wednesday evening is business attire. 

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your annual conference experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged during the day programming. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned. Comfortable and casual attire is appropriate for all of our evening events.

Jeans are appropriate for Thursday evening event.

How do I register for the event?

Registration is available online or by mail.

What are the registration fees and what does it include?

Full conference registration fees include access to all learning activities Wednesday through Friday, admission to our exhibitor area.

Registration is also available for each day of the conference as well as ala carte events.  For more information, view the Registration page.

Does Ohio Conference on Tourism  have a mobile app?

 Yes we do!  More information on downloading the mobile app will be made available closer to the event.

May I tweet, blog or use other Social Media outlets before, during and after the meeting to discuss topics announced at the meeting?

Please do!  We encourage attendees to utilize social media.  Follow us on twitter @OhioTravel and use the #OCOT2013 in your Twitter and Facebook posts!

Will I have internet access while at the conference?

Yes!  Free WiFi will be available in all public areas of the convention and hotel.

What if I have special needs to fully participate in the conference?

Indicate any special dietary, mobility or other needs on your registration form and we will accomodate your special needs.

I am not a member of OTA.  Can I still attend the 2013 Ohio Conference on Tourism?

Yes!  All representatives of Ohio's tourism industry are welcome to attend the Ohio Conference on Tourism.  OTA members receive discounted registration and many other great benefits.  Check out the OTA Membership page.
