Job Title: Executive Director

Immediate Supervisor: President, Board of Trustees

Status: Part-time

Range of pay: $12-14/hour for estimated 30hours and up to 45 hours/week based on seasonal activities and events ($18,000 - 21,000 annually)/comp-time     

 

Background

The Executive Director position of the WACO Historical Society (WACO) will become vacant upon the retirement of Gretchen Hawk in January 2021. WACO is in a transitional period as we emerge from the impacts of the Covid 19 virus, and as the final construction stage of the Robinson Learning Center is contemplated over the next 12 months. Job Description

Under the general direction of the Board of Trustees, this position is the primary day-to-day coordinator of the museum operation and activities, society membership, staff, volunteers, funding sources and the community-at-large to promote the goals and mission of WACO.
