Communications Manager – Social Media
Reports to Director of Marketing

The Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau (WCCVB) is a professional destination marketing and management organization committed to economic growth by increasing overnight and year-round visitors to Warren County, Ohio.  Tourism is the leading industry in Warren County, with more than 12 million annual visitors spending $1.24 billion and supporting nearly 12,000 tourism-related jobs.

Summary:   
The WCCVB is seeking a Communications Manager – Social Media to conduct daily communication across a variety of social media platforms, and to perform other projects as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Strategically implement daily conversation across all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
-Create and execute content calendars and schedules
-Track and build social media reports
-Design and implement social media contests
-Assist in the coordination and servicing of partner, stakeholder, and marketing programs
-Maintain a well-informed, working knowledge of the attractions and services available to potential visitors
-Perform graphic design projects as assigned by Director of Marketing
-Perform photography/videography as needed
-Manage photo and video assets library including UGC

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Communications or Marketing
-1-5 years of experience preferred
-Expert knowledge of professional social media tactics, analytics and platforms
-Ability to problem-solve independently Excellent interpersonal, writing and communications skills
-Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
-Graphic design experience & working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Canva a plus
-Video shooting and editing abilities a plus
-Knowledge and proficiency working with website CMS & CRM a plus
