Talking to legislators
We know that members of Ohio's tourism industry are well connected with members of the Ohio General Assembly. Your involvement and interaction with legislators has been a large part of our continued success. If you are an aquaintance of a State Senator or State Representative, we'd like to know about it. Simply being aware of this relationship often helps our Columbus lobbyists personalize conversations with a hometown touch and it helps the legislator realize the impact that his/her decision on an issue might have on the people in his/her district -- namely you.

As a result of the November elections, there many new faces in Columbus. Please take a look at the list of legislators that we have compiled. We have sorted them by county for your convenience.

In March, we will host a Tourism Day at the State Capitol. We will provide more details about our 2009 legislative agenda in January and at that time we will ask you to help us contact legislators to further our cause.

For now, we are only asking you to let us know who you know and who you may be able to contact in the coming months.
