Recognition and Awards

OTA proudly honors our members and the organizations that bring out the best in Ohio’s travel and tourism industry.

     The Paul Sherlock Award, the industry’s highest honor in the state,
     is presented to a member who has exemplified excellence in travel and 
     tourism. Each year, the recipient’s career achievement and tireless
     efforts toward our industry are recognized during the award presentation
     at the Ohio Conference on Tourism.

 

 

     OTA’s RUBY Awards recognizes the outstanding achievments in marketing,
     advertising and public relations from the past year. RUBY stands for
     recognizing uncommon brilliance in the travel and tourism industry. RUBY
     and Citation of Excellence Awards are presented to OTA members and
     tourism organizations within the state during the annual Ohio Conference
     on Tourism. Awards are presented for excellence in 15 different
     categories. Delegates attending the Ohio Conference on Tourism may
     vote for the Delegates Choice Award from the display of finalists.
