Executive Director for Coshocton Visitors Bureau
The Board of the Coshocton County Visitors Bureau is seeking applications for Director of the Coshocton Visitors Bureau(CVB). Responsibilities of this full-time position include the daily administration and operation of the CVB office and welcome center; maintaining a positive presence of Coshocton County tourism through press releases, website and other marketing and PR outlets; developing and implementing annual operating / marketing budget; attending professional tourism industry meetings locally and throughout the state; representing Coshocton County at tourism trade shows;
speaking about Coshocton tourism at various functions; working closely with Coshocton County and regional attractions and lodging facilities; and more.
Qualifications for the job include but are not limited to the following:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, tourism, hospitality, communications, public relations or a related field or five years related experience;
- Excellent writing, communication and speaking skills;
- Strengths in online marketing, website maintenance and various social media platforms; and
- Ability to use business-related computer programs including QuickBooks, Word, Excel, and other publishing programs.
